Tesla News: Model 3 Gets All-Weather And Paint Protection Kits

Some people live in climates that are extra rough on their vehicles, fortunately for them Tesla has added a new pair of items to their online shop.

For $50 each, Model 3 owners can opt to add an “All-Weather” or “Paint Protection” kit to their car.

Protect your Model 3 from snow, salt, sand, and small debris with the All-Weather Protection Kit. Avoid corrosion around the wheels and protect your paint from stone chips and driving conditions that can accelerate wear and tear.

The paint kit is something that any owner should consider, and use almost like a phone screen-protector. With Tesla’s history or less-than-ideal paint work, this could be something that helps your vehicle retain some value.

On the other hand, the mud flaps on the weather kit could be nice for people who live outside or urban centers. The addition of mud flaps is something that more rural drivers would love.

Both the kits come with all of the necessary installation hardware, and are presumably only offered for self-install.

The Model 3 is the only Tesla with these kits available for the time being, but it wouldn’t be unimaginable for the S,X, and Y to get them down the line. As for the Cybertruck, you know it’ll get mudflaps.
