Tesla Is Asking Cybertruck Buyers To Lease S3XY Cars To Improve Profits

Tesla checks for a two-for-one with certain Cybertruck reservation holders. An email has been sent to those who confirmed Tesla’s all-electric truck. The email indicated that future Cybertruck owners can rent an available vehicle before Cybertruck’s 2021-2022 arrival.

Several readers revealed the information about Tesla’s leasing vehicles to pre-ordered owners to Electrek. With the move, Tesla expects to increase revenue before year-end.
Since the Cybertruck will not begin production for the Dual and Tri-Motor models until late 2021, some owners will want to go to an all-electric Tesla before that.

Tesla targets owners and checks the potential market.

If you’re curious about the email, read it below:

“I saw you have a Cybertruck reservation with us so I wanted to update myself as a resource. The single-engine configuration is currently scheduled to begin production in late 2022, with delivery scheduled for early 2023.

Currently, dual and tri-motor configurations are scheduled to begin production in late 2021 with delivery scheduled for early 2022. Meanwhile, many Cybertruck reservation holders have leased our current vehicles 24-36 months to bridge the gap and experience Tesla ownership!

Currently, we are offering a $1,500 California Clean Fuel Reward eligible for California residents registering their car in-state on top of other California state incentives that you could apply before year-end. If you’re interested in securing pricing on our current S3XY
models, please answer ‘Yes,’ and I’m happy to call you.”

Tesla set this year’s the goal of producing 500,000 cars. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic that closed the company’s Fremont factory in Northern California for a month and a half, Tesla has grown with three-quarters exceeding Wall Street expectations. His latest quarter proved to be the most profitable in company history as Tesla marked 145,036 cars produced and shipped 139,593 cars.
To meet its target, Tesla would need to manufacture 170,020 cars and only build a vehicle if demand exists.

Tesla’s End-of-Year campaign is very often strong and in previous years the company has called on owners to help in their efforts. Reaching out to Cybertruck pre-orderers is a smart tactic, as the vehicle won’t be available for about a year, so some reservation holders might be impatient to have a Tesla on their driveway.
