We are creeping ever closer to the production start date for the Model 3, and as expected, we are getting more and more leaked shows of various Model 3 features. One of the great unknowns has been what the interior of the Model 3 looks like, but we’re starting to get a clearer view of what to expect.
Today we bring what looks to be our best and clearest look at the Model 3 cockpit, courtesy of Reddit user u/inamachineshop:
As you can see from the pictures above, we finally have an unobstructed view of the steering wheel and touch screen. These pictures were taken from three release candidates while they were out testing in Silicon Valley.
Judging by the pictures, it seems the steering column is pretty traditional and doesn’t feature any crazy hideaway feature like some have speculated. We also get a nice clear look at the giant touch screen, which basically looks like someone glued a laptop screen to the center.
In addition, here are some more exterior shots of the Model 3 for you all to enjoy. These are some of the nicest up close shots of the Model 3 that I have seen yet, so it definitely has me excited to build mine!
