Elon Musk Shows Off Tesla Cybertruck Insane Acceleration On Road

Elon Musk’s night out has let us get our hands on yet another video that shows the new Tesla Cybertruck on the road in all of its.. beauty? But this time, with Elon behind the wheel, he was eager to show off its blistering acceleration.

Its performance seems to be other worldly, as does its angular looks, especially on this video taken by Instagram user Andrew Villablanca or, @avvblanc. You can watch it below.

There have been multiple sightings of Elon Musk, Tesla CEO, taking his friends out for the evening in Nobu in Malibu, CA. The video above shows the vehicle driving on highway and more narrow streets, but what we’re really here to see is the wondrous acceleration that he shows off with as he silently leaves the restaurant. The truck leans onto its rear wheels as it launches forward.

The truck Elon is driving boasts the dual-motor powertrain which has a 0-60mph time of only 4.5 seconds. The range-topping tri-motor comes in at a blistering 2.9 seconds and has a 500-mile range. Although, the range would be slightly lower if the retractable handles don’t retract like they don’t seem to have done in this video. They should be flush with the bodywork with the car in motion. It’s a prototype guys, there are still going to be bugs to iron out.

The single and dual-motor variants of the Cybertruck will be hitting the market in 2021 with the tri-motor coming a year later. They will cost $39,900, $49,900, and $69,900 respectively, with 250,000 people already putting down their deposits.
