Spark Charge Portable Charger for Teslas and Electric Vehicles

Recently on one of the great Tesla Facebook Groups, David Sanchez shared a moment he had while charging up his car over at the super charger in Glendale, CA. Looks like the gas can of the future and definitely something owners of electric vehicles would love to keep in their trunk for those extra long road trips.

We looked into the makers of this battery pack real quick and learned that this product is from a relatively new company called Spark Charge. Joshua Aviv founded Spark Charge as he took on range anxiety after purchasing his electric car during a time when the charging infrastructure wasn’t what it is today.

The base product is made up of a 3.5 kWh batter with a 20kw inverter, which charges at about 1 mile every 60 seconds. Each battery pack should provide up to 15 miles of range and the beauty of it is that the batteries stack on top of each other as seen here.

It looks like Spark Charge is testing their products with owners like David at popular super charger destinations, so be on the look out and let us know what you think!
