Tesla has launched an all-new, third generation wall charger that offers wi-fi connectivity and a sleek, attractive design thanks to a tampered glass material faceplate. It is now available on the Tesla store and will work with the Model S, Model 3, and Model X.

This new charger will provide a new level of usability as owners of the system will be able to monitor its performance over the app and receive notifications. It also allows for faster charging over the standard Level 1 charging via a standard wall outlet. This Level 2 charging station promises an overnight charge for your Tesla at 44 miles of range per hour.

Tesla says the following on its new 3rd generation wall charger:

“Charge at home, anytime. Tesla Wall Connector provides a full charge overnight for every homeowner. With customized power settings, the lightweight design allows for versatile indoor/outdoor use, including a range of electrical systems and mounting options. Monitor your charge with the Tesla app and receive notifications when complete. Wi-Fi connectivity enables over-the-air firmware updates and remote service if necessary. Tesla Wall Connector offers the best home charging experience for any Tesla owner.”
