Teenager Hacks 25 Teslas In 10 Countries To Prove A Point
After a German teenager was able to hijack 25 vehicles in 10 different countries from hundreds of kilometers away, Tesla customers have been urged to take extra precautions to safeguard their cars. According to him, he could use it to break into any vehicle.
According to David Colombo, a cyber genius from Germany, he has the ability to unlock and even start driving the Teslas where the owners have left them open to hacking. Colombo made his skills public on Twitter and claimed he must reach out to the proprietors and inform them but lacks any means of contact.

Colombo revealed on Twitter:
“So, I now have full remote control of over 20 Tesla’s in 10 countries and there seems to be no way to find the owners and report it to them…”
He didn’t go into detail about how he gained access to the automobiles, but he claimed that it was a result of the owners’ negligence.

With his abilities, Colombo may locate the automobiles, open the doors and windows, play music, or flash headlights. He made it clear that he couldn’t alter someone’s driving though.
Tesla says it is working to discover the problem and has started issuing fresh security certificates to its cars in order to keep hackers out.
The youngster hacker is performing “ethical hacking,” which entails breaking into a computer system in order to discover its vulnerabilities. This is so that the device’s owner, can be warned and the system can be updated so that real criminals don’t get their hands on it.
