Tesla Fremont Factory Death Being Investigated As Homicide

A suspicious death at a Tesla automobile plant in Northern California has prompted homicide investigators to look into it, authorities reported on Monday. Police said the Fremont Fire Department responded to the vast factory around 3:30 p.m. amid reports of someone down in the parking lot.

The Fremont factory is one of Tesla’s automobile manufacturing facilities. It has more than 10,000 employees and 5.3 million square feet of production and office space as shown on the company’s website.

The emergency services administered medical assistance to the unidentified individual on arrival but they were sadly pronounced dead at the scene. “We have a dead body in the parking lot, and homicide investigators are taking over the case,” Fred Babbitt, Fremont police Captain, told Fox News. The authorities have not yet disclosed potential suspects or motive.
