Tesla “Full Self-Driving Beta” Caught In First Incident Since Release

In what could be the first mishap on Full Self-Driving Beta, a Tesla car was caught on video colliding with a pole. Elon Musk said last month that Tesla’s Full Self-Driving Beta had not experienced an accident since it began.

The vehicle was involved in a minor collision that only resulted in minor paint damage.

As “Full Self-Driving Beta” is still in the testing phase it is only being used by a hand-picked selection of Tesla drivers before being released to all owners.

The driver must be attentive and ready to take control at all times, since the software enables the automobile to go on its own to a destination programmed into the car’s navigation system, but the driver remains in charge of the vehicle. Tesla does not take any responsibility for FSD accidents.
