Tesla Model S & Model X Plaid Europe Delivery Dates Finally Revealed

The waiting time for Tesla models has been increasing over time due to their sheer popularity, and, some customers don’t even know how long they’ll have to wait in total. But Model S and Model X Plaid reservation holders in Europe have now received updates on their deliveries. Since then, Tesla has updated the online configurator to show exactly when deliveries will begin.

Deliveries of the Model S and Model X Plaid will be from December 2022 in Europe, and this update has been very welcoming to customers, with some waiting since early 2021 for their EV. It looks as though this update is only for left-hand drive vehicles, however, so those waiting for the right-hand drive models will probably still have a longer wait.

Tesla fans and customers in Europe have started sharing their configurators online showing the new delivery dates. One German user, Tesla_Adri posted to Twitter:

“Breaking! Model S/X Plaid prices and estimated delivery dates are back in Europe. Deliveries will start in Dezember 2022!” [sic]

There are still no guides on delivery dates for the long range versions of the Model S and Model X, although Tesla usually starts delivering the more expensive variants first. It has been indicated that the Model X Long Range could have as much as a ten month wait time in the U.S.

Luckily for Tesla, customers clearly seem to think the vehicles are worth the wait. We have seen some amazing performance from both the Model S and Model X Plaid, with the former in particular showing a 0-62 mph time of below two seconds, and the latter in just 2.5 seconds.
