Tesla Model Y Is an Off-Roading King With Delta4x4 Mods

Delta4x4, a tuner known for its off-road electric vehicles, has released its latest project based on the Tesla Model Y. The modifications, which have been shared on social media, are designed to enhance the vehicle’s off-road capabilities and add a touch of style.

Delta4x4 describe themselves as “your specialist and provider for Offroader, SUV and Pick-Up Tuning” and provide many products such as wheels, body lift kits, and stainless steel bars.

The tuning company shared unveiled the modified Model Y at the Essen Motorshow as well as on their social media.

“Tesla Model Y powered by @delta4x4 on the @continental_reifen Essen Motorshow booth! We are proud to unveil our latest build!Our Tesla Model Y got a +35mm SDK lift kit in combination with @continental_reifen Cross-contact in the size 265/45R20. Rim of choice is the 20” klassik-B.

“The overall ground clearance is increases by roundabout +5,2cm. To cover the tires we developed a set of fenderflares which widens the Y by +6cm.” [sic]

The most notable change to the Model Y is the 35mm SDK Lift Kit, which provides increased ground clearance and improved off-road handling. In addition, Delta4x4 has installed luggage racks on the roof.

The Model Y has also been fitted with PIAA auxiliary headlights, which are mounted on the front above the number plate. Delta4x4 has also added fender flares to the Model Y, which are made of black plastic and add 6 cm of width to the vehicle. This not only enhances the vehicle’s appearance, but also improves its performance on off-road terrain.

Rounding out the modifications are 20-inch Beadlock alloy wheels, which are finished in black and feature visible screws. These wheels are wrapped in 265/40 Cross-Contact tyres from Continental, which provide improved traction.
